Proportional solenoid
Proportional solenoid, is an actuator that convert electrical signal into mechanical force and displacement. More specifically, proportional solenoid is used to keep mechanical force in proportion to the size of electrical signal. It is basically composed of coil, cover, plunger (also called core tube).
Like other solenoid, proportional solenoid is designed according to the electromagnetic induction principle. It can be precisely and quickly positioned at designated spot in a power-on state or power-off state.
Compared to on-off solenoid, proportional solenoids don’t have to choose between on or off. Core tube of proportional solenoid can be positioned at any point, which requires more complex technology of tube.
Proportional solenoid can be simply divided into several types, such as Proportional Solenoid (screw type), Proportional Solenoid (bolt type), Proportional Solenoid (3-pin type), Hydraulic Solenoid for Proportional Valve (GP series), Proportional Solenoid for Overflow Valve and Hydraulic Solenoid for Servo Valves.
Explosion-proof solenoid
As a core component of explosion-proof solenoid valve, explosion proof solenoid is used to control the valve. In general, some explosive gas mixture will be produced during working process of device, which requires a housing to enclose the assembly unit that may light explosive gas mixture. What explosion-proof solenoid does is help valve to ensure the safety. For its function and application, Explosion-proof solenoid is sometimes called explosion-proof solenoid or flameproof solenoid.
